Last night I was researching some of the Championship Auto Racing Team’s schedules, to see what IndyCar needs and doesn’t need. I saw a lot of ovals early on but then disappearing fast. I am a street circuit fan but not a lot of them. I’d take a ton of good street circuits over Barber, Infineon, or Mid-Ohio. Ovals, they need to be on. If IndyCar can test at Phoenix and Richmond why can’t they get a race. If you can get Loudon back that’d be great also. What about Chicagoland or Kentucky. Las Vegas would be a stretch but it could be managable. I consider some events as historic events also. Which I’ll get into in a bit.
IndyCar Historic Events
- Indianapolis (oval)
- Phoenix (oval)
- Milwaukee Mile (oval)
- Long Beach (street circuit)
- Toront0 (street circuit)
- Michigan (oval)
- Portland (road course)
- Cleveland (airport course)
- Road America (road course)
- Surfers Paradise (street course)
- Auto Club Speedway (oval)
- Richmond (oval)
Out of the current schedule, I’d keep St. Petersburg, Edmonton, Sao Paulo, Texas and Baltimore.
IndyCar’s Interest (Future)
- Fort Lauderdale, Florida (street circuit)
- Watkins Glen (road course)
- Loudon (oval)
- Memphis (oval)
- Chicago (oval)
- Kentucky (oval)
